A few weeks ago, our team at Indigo filmed a small but gorgeous video of staff and customers sharing the books that changed their lives. I just wanted to share it!
Enjoy =)!
What book changed YOUR life?
(Side note: I’m a bit camera-shy, hence the awkwardness. I was attempting to hold back my super dorky excited smile lol. Now I wish I would have just let it out!)
That video was super cute! You didn’t look awkward at all! Hmm…It’s hard to choose just one book that has changed my life…. but I’ll say…. Maus by Art Spiegelman because it showed me that graphic novels can be just as powerful and meaningful as works of classic literature!
You are so cute! Loving the hair :) And what an awesome video!
The book that changed my life…hmmm, it’s gotta be Harry Potter!
Would you believe that the book that changed my life was Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki? I’m not kidding. It taught me how to take control of our finances and we’re better because of it.
Great post, Chels!
<3
I loved this! It absolutely warmed my heart! I think people that work for and visit bookstores are some the greatest people EVER. I am a former employee of Coles @Fairview mall in Toronto, and oh how I miss it dearly.
The book that changed my life has to Fall on Your Knees by Ann-Marie Macdonald. It allowed me to welcome more controversial books with open arms, and YAY for supporting Canadian born writers.
I love your site Chelsey, I am excited to have just become a follower =)
Happy reading!
Late to the party (sorry Chels!) but the book that changed my life was The Little Prince! It’s also the first and only book I’ve read cover-to-cover in French AND I’ve almost got a quote from the book tattoo’d on my foot (went
with something less specific and more symbolic instead)
