For the past few years, my friend Danika has made pumpkin cupcakes in the fall. They are simple, but easily the most delicious cupcakes I have ever tasted. The autumn chill and colourful trees had me missing those cupcakes, so today I got myself a few mini pumpkins (for inspirational purposes, of course), some groceries and, while it rained outside, I opened up my kitchen windows and took a stab at baking.

To keep up with the kitchen activity, Jay and I decided to make Dominican Chimichurri Burgers, using a recipe from The Epicurious Cookbook (thanks Jenny)!
